IDFA to Host Introduction to Dairy Product Labeling Webinar Series - Quality Assurance & Food Safety

The International Dairy Foods Association (IDFA) will host the “Introduction to Dairy Product Labeling” webinar series Nov. 13-14 with the information needed to produce compliant and effective labels for products.

The series will be delivered in two sessions of 2.5 hours each on Wednesday, Nov. 13, and Thursday, Nov. 14, from 12-2:30 p.m. ET.

The webinar series will also cover marketing claims that include nutrient content claims such as reduced sugar, low sodium and high protein, along with lactose free, gluten free and natural and other labeling terms, such as Grade A, Kosher and the Real Seal. Compliance with the USDA’s Bioengineered Food Disclosure Standard will also be addressed.
