Cadbury invites chocolate fans to design their next masterpiece

Apr 04, 2023

Cadbury World is encouraging visitors this year to design its next chocolate creation and will let members of the public contribute to its Chocolate Making zone.

In the past, Cadbury World chocolatiers have created all sorts of weird and wonderful creations made entirely from chocolate.

These include Birmingham's famous Bull, a replica of the St.Edward's Crown to celebrate the King's Coronation, and even the historic moon landing scene to mark its 50th anniversary.

However, this summer things will be different, as the attraction is requesting that visitors design the next creation themselves.

There is just one condition - it must centre around the theme of "favourite holiday memory".

Cadbury World chocolatiers are ready and waiting to recreate guests’ memories and bring them back to life, whether it's a marriage proposal in front of the Eiffel Tower, indulging in a hot air balloon ride or visiting the Taj Mahal.

Gerrard Baldwin, General Manager at Cadbury World, said: "We are super excited to be putting the power in our visitors’ hands for our summer creation this year. People always chat to us about how much they love our chocolatiers’ amazing creations, so we thought it was only fair they got to design one themselves!

"We’ve selected the theme ‘favourite holiday memory’ as these are special moments in our lives, and with this chocolate creation launching ahead of the school summer holidays we thought this was the ideal theme.

"Like the rest of the team at Cadbury World, our chocolatiers can't wait to see what they’re going to be creating next."

The winning creator will have their favourite memory honoured in chocolate.

They will also be able to claim the chance to visit the attraction for the day and add finishing touches to their own design, as well as enjoy an exclusive dining experience.

In addition, the winner will receive an exclusive dining experience and a hamper packed full of Cadbury merchandise.

As well as the overall winner, three runners-up will receive a family ticket to Cadbury World and a goody bag.

To enter, guests will need to get their pens and pencils at the ready and delve into their imagination to design the next showstopper and submit an image of the finished design.

Alternatively, visitors can send in a photo of their favourite holiday memory.

The public can submit their ideas via post or on the Cadbury World website, by June 25th before the chocolatiers shortlist their top four suggestions and an overall winner is chosen on social media before the school holidays in July.

The winner is set to be announced on July 3rd.

To enter the summer creation competition, simply head to the Cadbury World website or post your entry to: Cadbury World, 69 Linden Road, Bournville, Birmingham, B30 1JR.
