Chocolate and sweets festival makes its return for the first time since pandemic
TOPEKA (KSNT) – If Halloween candy wasn’t enough sweets this week, The Kansas Chocolate and Sweets Festival was just the place to satisfy all the sweet cravings.
The festival hosted their first event since Covid and the crowd did not disappoint.
From chocolate to home baked goods to toys, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

The show’s manager, Zach Haney, told 27 News his favorite part of the festival.
“I’d say my favorite part about the festival is the stage. There’s just so many unique things that happen over there.,” Haney said. “From Hazel Hill giving demonstrations to Jack, Joyride Coffee Roasters just talking about the process, the bean to bark process on making chocolates. So I’ve always just enjoyed watching the stage and seeing the different demonstrations.”
The festival is looking to expand to more venues in the years to come across the state to showcase more local vendors.
